The story of Liverpool’s greatest comeback of all time – and how Bob Paisley turned the tide

“Back where they belong” – Liverpool rise from Second Division for the third and final time

Liverpool would spend seven seasons suffering in an inescapable prison in the Second Division, before magic number eight rolled around in 1961/62 to see the club return to its rightful place.

https://www.thisisanfield.com/2020/04/b ... inal-time/

The men on the pitch in the early days of LFC were as crucial to its long-term success as those off it, and Elisha Scott is certainly one of the Men Who Made Liverpool.
