Frimpong already added, attention turns to the centre-forward position. Liverpool admire Alexander isak but a deal is going to be very difficult given his huge valuation.

If and when Nunez departs, it may take time before a clear picture emerges of how Liverpool's front line will take shape.

Their admiration for forwards such as Alexander Isak and Ekitike is well documented but there is nothing significant in motion at present.

So, is Isak to Liverpool probable? No.

But is it possible? Yes.

Ekitike is certainly one they like but nothing is advanced for the Eintracht Frankfurt forward at the moment. The likes of Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres are on the move but I don't think either fit the bill for Liverpool right now.

These things are true: Liverpool like Guehi, Guehi likes the idea of playing for Liverpool, Guehi will almost certainly leave Selhurst Park this summer.

If the interest turns serious, then this one could definitely happen.
